24-11-08 Hey guys, we got some nice clips of Josh Mete the other night which came up good. The diversity of riders being apart of this project just keeps growing.

20-11-08 Hey all, thanks to everyone who posted links to the Defero promo and also to the crew that have emailed us about contributing, we are psyched! We have been getting a few clips lately, Luke Barling is leading the clip count and banging some nice shit out.

In Latin, Defero means community, and community is the perfect word to describe the scene that this new Australian BMX DVD series will showcase. Based out of Melbourne, Defero is headed up by Cooper Brownlee (FocalpointBMX) and Chris ‘Flagz’ Matthews (Peazant/B-Town) with the aim of producing quality, fun DVD’s that perfectly represent the Australian BMX community.

Make no mistake, this isn’t a replacement for the Focalpoint DVD’s – FP is doing great and will continue to build and progress. Defero is another outlet to bring more exposure to more riders out there.

The content will not be bound to any one riding style as we aim to feature a diverse crew of riders from across Australia. To achieve this, contributions and ideas are welcome, so feel free to email us!

Issue One of Defero will be released with the next Focalpoint DVD, giving you two totally different videos in the one package. Keep an eye out for the finished product some time in March 2009. For now, you can check out the promo for a taste of what is to come with Defero.

Enjoy BMX today! Cooper and Flagz
