RISKY

I guess when you can't ride for basically a year, sometimes you need to do some random shit to keep you going. Take Troy Jackson for example, he has talked about getting epic tattoos for months then randomly both himself and Goof go out and get the strangest artwork on the top of their feet. This would technically be the first FP tattoo since there is a FP on the side of the choppa. Crazy kids!

ISSUE 15 DONE!

Surrounding me right now is a fortress of boxes containing the product of spending almost every night for the last three months in front of my computer screen. Issue 15 of FocalpointBMX is packed full of interviews and articles with riders from all across the country. Some of them you will know but most of them you won’t – and that’s just the way we like it!
Cover boy for this issue is style cat, Lee Mans, who scores an interview. Alongside him in the pages are Josh Collins and Beechy, as well as a bunch of underground bios including a very unique Robbo interview and a look into the lives of a few dedicated park riders. There is a feature on what goes on behind-the-scenes at Colony BMX, I talk to Troy Charlesworth about the release of his new video, Epic Invasion, and we shine a light on the controversial Bendigo Trail Jam. Most importantly, however, this issue pays tribute to some of our close friends who’s lives were tragically cut short – it is to them that this issue is dedicated.
Issue 15 holds more content than ever and when you add in some nice giveaways, you have yourself a very solid issue of Focalpoint. Enjoy!
I will be posting them out to over 100 stores around Oz in the coming days so be on the look out for it and of course it's FREE!
Big thanks to all the contributors and advertisers who keep it going strong!

I'VE ALWAYS LIKED CANBERRA

Hey guys, just got in the door form driving back form Canberra. Good times were had, I'm stuff so I will do a proper post tomorrow but a couple of random happenings from the trip below, along with a pic of Backbone Bmx which we popped in at to drop some FP tee's off.
Canberra cops are awesome, we were pulled up at 1am by them and asked what we were doing and if the bikes we were on were ours, after responding with the obvious answers they were cool and said they would stop bothering us now, no lights on the bikes, no helmets or brakes and they were chill! Gotta love em.
Whilst riding a new spot this morning, a lady comes out and starts talking to us, we thought we were about to get booted however she explained she was one of the owners of the site and was stoked we were there, shooting a photo and all she requested was that I send her the shot so she can have a copy, then continued to tell us what else was on offer in the surrounding buildings!
Troy Charlesworth's new dvd Epic Invasion is awesome and eveyone whould purchase a copy.
